COVID positive for the first time
It was one Friday night, my son was having a high fever, head ache, stomachache, feeling dizzy, his under eyes were red purple swollen. I got the Cherry flavor Tylenol and Lime green Gatorade from the kitchen. Here baby drink this and go lay down on your bed. At this moment, I'm concerned if it's going to go away by tomorrow morning. Saturday as he wakes up, he's feeling a little better. I grab the rapid test from the hallway closet, turns out he was positive. Unbelievable, already exposed everyone at home. We still put on a mask, but on the following 2days my daughter starts having a stomachache, same remedy helped her. 2days later I start feeling it and 2 days after my youngest. A full home of positive covid. We all get tested on Tuesday to get results on Thursday that we are all positive. I thank God that we didn't have severe symptoms. Breathing problems, chest pain, cough or vomiting would had been the worst. Definitely we all had a huge appetite even though we had a stomach ache. It was a really fast metabolism to eat and get it out of our system. Constant bathroom breaks just to flush out the virus. A lot of sanitizing and cleaning with bleach all day long and before going to sleep. Hot steamy showers even twice a day and sleeping with a humidifier. Opening up the windows and doors throughout the day for fresh air. Ordering groceries and miscellaneous things to get delivered at the front door. Watching movies, shows, you tube videos, that family quality time very much needed. For a single mother that works Monday through Friday 8 to 5. For all to wake up at 5 or 6 to get home by 6pm. A really fun and entertaining time with my kids. Because regardless of us being sick. Very strong to be good by the third or fourth day giggling and laughing having a good time while quarantine. Sometimes God sends us sicknesses for a reason. To open up my eyes and see how a great mother I have become. To appreciate the life and kids God has given me. I love my life no matter how busy it may get. I love the people in my life. They are the ones to keep pushing myself to become a better person on a daily basis.
